UPDATE (as of 24 August 2026): The week of 24–31 August 2026 opens with the Indian Overseas Bank Local Bank Officer (LBO) window closing today, 24 August, for 250 posts, and closes with two large SBI Clerk drives – the SC/ST/OBC backlog recruitment (1,538 posts) on 27 August and the much larger Regular Recruitment (9,124 posts) on 31 August. The biggest change from last week’s tracker: IBPS has extended the IBPS Clerk/CSA 2026 (CRP CSA-XVI, 11,403 vacancies) deadline by one week, from 21 August to 28 August, via a corrigendum dated 21 August. Bank of Baroda has opened a fresh LBO drive of its own – 2,482 vacancies (1,300 fresh + 1,182 backlog), running 18 August to 7 September, which candidates should note runs beyond this tracker’s window but is open to apply now. On the PSU side, Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has opened a new Executive recruitment for 470 posts (Graduate Engineer, Officer-Marketing, Law Officer, Assistant Quality Control Officer, Diploma Engineer), open 14 August to 3 September. RRB has revised the Junior Engineer, DMS & CMA (CEN 04/2026) vacancy count upward from 3,993 to 4,029 via Corrigendum-1 (18 August), adding a new Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant category; the application window remains open till 13 September. RRB Section Controller’s correction window (for candidates who applied by 14 August) closes on 26 August. ISRO’s Assistant/UDC/JPA/Stenographer applications closed on 20 August as scheduled; the written test is now confirmed for 21 September. No fresh State PSC notification opened this week; UP PCS 2026 Prelims remains confirmed for 6 December. Read carefully and apply well before the respective closing dates.

UP PCS 2026 (UPPSC) — the correction window for category, domicile, gender and date-of-birth details closed on 10 August 2026, and the Commission has reconfirmed the Prelims exam date as 6 December 2026. Candidates tracking BPSC, MPSC, TSPSC, RPSC and similar state services should continue watching official portals for the next recruitment cycle; MPSC Group-C 2026 applications closed earlier this month (5 August) with Mains provisionally scheduled for 27 December 2026.
