UPDATE (as of 2 September 2026): The week of 1–6 September 2026 opens with the biggest banking recruitment story of the season: the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released its detailed CRP RRBs-XV notification for 13,706 vacancies across Regional Rural Banks – 4,256 Officer Scale-I (PO), 8,183 Office Assistant (Clerk), 1,047 Officer Scale-II and 220 Officer Scale-III – with online applications open from 1 to 21 September. On the PSU front, Indian Oil Corporation Limited’s Executive Recruitment 2026 (470 posts across Graduate Engineer, Officer-Marketing, Law Officer, Assistant Quality Control Officer and Diploma Engineer streams) closes this week, on 3 September. Bank of Baroda’s Local Bank Officer drive (2,482 vacancies) remains open and closes just after this window, on 7 September – candidates should apply now rather than wait. On Railways, the Junior Engineer, DMS & CMA recruitment (CEN 04/2026, 4,029 revised vacancies) continues, with applications open till 13 September and a correction window scheduled for 16–25 September. SSC CGL 2026 Tier-I examinations (12,256 vacancies) remain in progress across multiple shifts through August–September, with SSC expected to release the remaining shift-wise schedule in the second week of September. No fresh State PSC notification opened this week; Karnataka’s KAS Gazetted Probationers drive (319 posts) closed just before this window, on 31 August, with prelims tentatively set for 15 November.
