The SSC CGL 2026 Tier-I exam already in its first week: shifts run daily through 30 October, and admit cards keep releasing 2–3 days ahead of each candidate’s shift, with the total vacancy count now shown as 10,731 (revised down from the earlier 12,256 figure) across 40 Group B/C posts. In banking, IBPS conducted the CRP PO/MT-XVI Main Examination on 4 October, while candidates who applied for IBPS RRB CRP RRBs-XV (applications closed 27 September) must print their submitted application by 5 October (Office Assistant) or 6 October (Officer cadre)  no further edits are possible after that. On Railways, the RRB Paramedical (CEN 05/2026) drive continues without change, staying open until 14 October, and the RRB JE, DMS & CMA drive is now past its correction window, with the CBT date still awaited. On the State PSC front, TNPSC’s provisional answer key for the Group 1 (Notification 05/2026) prelims held on 27 September is expected in this first week of October, and TNPSC has separately confirmed 25 October 2026 for the Group 2 preliminary exam. SSC CHSL 2026 applications are entering their final week, closing 7 October. Read every official notification carefully before applying.

The Tier-I Computer-Based Exam, which began on 30 September, continues in multiple daily shifts through this window and into the rest of October. SSC has kept releasing admit cards on a rolling basis, 2–3 days ahead of each shift — hall tickets for the 1 October shift went out on 28 September, and the pattern continues for each subsequent exam date. The Commission has now published the post-wise revised vacancy figure of 10,731 across 40 Group B and Group C posts, down from the tentative 12,256 quoted at notification stage; candidates should treat this as the current official number. Carry the admit card plus a valid original photo ID; entry is allowed only after verification. Candidates allotted the Churachandpur (Manipur) exam centre should note a separate SSC NER rescheduling notice for their shift.

The SSC CHSL 2026 application window, open since 7 September, enters its final week within this tracking period — the online form closes 7 October 2026 at 11:00 PM, with fee payment accepted until 8 October. Candidates who have not yet applied have only a few days left. The application correction facility will open separately from 14 to 16 October. Tier-I and Tier-II exam schedules are yet to be announced.

The Computer-Based Exam concluded on 26 September, just before this window began. As of this update, SSC has not yet released the provisional answer key for Phase XIV; candidates should keep checking the regional SSC portals, since the key, objection window and result typically follow within a few weeks of the exam finishing. There is no fresh development specific to this four-day window — this entry is carried forward for tracking.

This nine-category paramedical drive – Nursing Superintendent, Pharmacist, Radiographer and more — continues accepting applications through this window with no new update this week. The window stays open until 14 October 2026 (23:59 hrs), so candidates still have around ten days. Selection remains CBT → Document Verification → Medical Examination, with pay from Level 3 to Level 7 (7th CPC). RRB has indicated there is no extension planned, so candidates should not wait for the final days.

The correction window for this 4,029-vacancy technical drive closed on 25 September, just before this window began. With corrections now locked, candidates should watch for the CBT exam-city intimation slip and admit card, which RRBs typically release in stages ahead of the exam date; no exam date has been announced yet as of this update.

Per the IBPS 2026 recruitment calendar, the CRP PO/MT-XVI Main Examination was conducted on 4 October 2026, falling on the last day of this tracking window, following Prelims held back on 22–23 August. Candidates who cleared Prelims and appeared for Mains should now watch for the provisional answer key and, subsequently, shortlisting for interview. This is the standout new banking development for the window.

Online registration and fee payment for this drive closed on 27 September, just ahead of this window. The official registration portals now show a separate deadline for printing the submitted application: 5 October for Office Assistant applicants and 6 October for Officer-cadre (Scale I/II/III) applicants — both falling right at the edge of this tracking period. A post-closure correction window will follow at ₹200 per edit. Officer Scale-I prelims remain tentatively set for 21–22 November, and Office Assistant prelims for 6, 12 & 13 December 2026.

Applications for this 2,482-vacancy drive closed on 7 September, and there is no fresh development this window. The Online Test date and admit card remain unannounced; candidates should keep checking the official careers page.

Following the Preliminary Examination held on 27 September, unofficial answer keys are already circulating, and TNPSC’s own provisional (tentative) answer key is expected in this first week of October 2026, based on the Commission’s usual turnaround. Once released, candidates will get a short objection window before the final key and result are prepared. Prelims marks remain a screening stage only; the Mains and interview will decide final merit.

A new item to track this window: TNPSC has confirmed 25 October 2026 as the Preliminary Examination date for Group 2 and 2A Services 2026. This follows the same Prelims → Mains → Certificate Verification pattern as Group 1. Candidates should watch tnpsc.gov.in for the detailed notification, application window and admit card release over the coming weeks.

UP PCS 2026 (UPPSC): the Preliminary Examination remains confirmed for 6 December 2026 per the Commission’s exam calendar; no new correction window or notification opened this window. Karnataka Public Service Commission’s KAS Gazetted Probationers Recruitment 2026 (319 posts) stays closed for applications (closed 31 August), with prelims tentatively scheduled for 15 November 2026. Candidates tracking BPSC, MPSC, TSPSC, RPSC and similar state services should continue watching official portals for the next recruitment cycle.
