This week is about closing windows and fresh State PSC openings. The RRB Section Controller CBT (CEN 03/2026) is held today and tomorrow (12–13 October), the SSC Selection Post Phase XIV answer-key challenge window closes today at 4:00 PM (as reported), and the TNPSC Group 1 prelims objection window ends on 13 October. RRB Paramedical (CEN 05/2026) closes on 14 October and Canara Bank’s 3,500-seat Graduate Apprentice drive on 17 October. The SSC CHSL correction window runs 14–16 October and SSC CGL Tier-I continues through 30 October. New this week: TNPSC Group 4 (6,574 vacancies, apply till 5 November), UGC NET December 2026 (apply till 28 October) and CLAT 2027 (apply till 31 October). Correction to last week’s tracker: the TNPSC Group 2 & 2A prelims is on 1 November 2026 (notification dated 11 August), not 25 October, and the Bank of Baroda LBO online test was held on 3 October. Read every official notification carefully before applying.

Applications closed on 7 October (fee payment ended 8 October). The paid correction window opens on 14 October and closes on 16 October at 11:00 PM; the first correction costs ₹200 and the second ₹500, so check every field before using it. SSC’s schedule, as reported, places the Tier-I computer-based exam between 30 November and 31 December 2026, with Tier-II dates still to be announced. Tier-I is reported to carry a 15-minute sectional timer for each section.

The Tier-I Computer-Based Exam (100 questions, 60 minutes) runs in multiple daily shifts until 30 October. Admit cards are released region-wise roughly three to four days before each exam date; log in on the SSC site with your registration number and password, and check your date, shift, reporting time and centre. Carry a printed admit card and a valid original photo ID. Tier-II is expected in December 2026.

The Computer-Based Exam was held from 16 to 26 September. One tracking site reports that SSC released the tentative answer key and response sheets on 9 October and accepts challenges only until 12 October, 4:00 PM. This detail is from a secondary source, so confirm the notice and deadline on ssc.gov.in immediately. The result follows after the final answer key.

Carried forward: UPSC Engineering Services Examination 2027 (about 480 vacancies) closed for applications on 6 October. The Preliminary Exam is on 31 January 2027 and the Mains on 18 June 2027, as per the earlier tracker. Verify any update on the UPSC portals below.

The computer-based test is on 12 and 13 October. The city intimation slip came out on 2 October and, as reported, the admit card was released on 8 October; download it by logging in with your registration number and password on rrbapply.gov.in or your regional RRB site. The pay level is Level 6 (₹35,400 starting basic). Reports describe 100 questions in 120 minutes with one-third negative marking, followed by a separate aptitude test (CBAT), so check the CEN for the final scheme.

The Computer-Based Test was scheduled for 6 to 9 October. In earlier Technician cycles, RRBs opened a response-sheet and objection window on the regional websites a couple of weeks after the exam. Candidates should watch their own regional RRB site for the notice. No official date for the key or result has been seen this week.

Applications for the nine paramedical categories (Nursing Superintendent 372, Pharmacist 120, Health & Malaria Inspector 43, and others) close on 14 October at 11:59 PM, and fee payment for a submitted application is reported to run until 16 October. A candidate can apply to only one RRB. Selection is CBT, document verification and medical examination, with pay from Level 3 to Level 7. Vacancy totals differ between reports (560 to 590), so rely on the detailed CEN.

Under RRB’s notice dated 2 October, CBT-1 is on 27 and 28 October 2026. The exam city and date intimation is expected about ten days before each date, so around 17 October for 27 October and 18 October for 28 October, and the e-call letter about four days before (around 23–24 October). These are expected dates, not announced ones, so keep checking the regional RRB site.

Applications close on 17 October for 3,500 Graduate Apprentice seats across states and UTs. Complete your NATS profile first (the NATS enrolment ID is needed), then apply through the Canara Bank careers page. Eligibility is reckoned as on 1 September 2026, and the age limit quoted is 20–28 years. This is an apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act, not a regular bank job, and the printed stipend is reported as ₹16,650 per month.

Registration closed on 27 September and the print-application deadlines (5 and 6 October) have passed. As per the IBPS calendar, the Officer Scale-I prelims are tentatively on 21–22 November and the Office Assistant prelims on 6, 12 and 13 December 2026. Preliminary call letters normally appear on ibps.in a week or two before each exam.

The Main Examination was held on 4 October 2026. Trackers expect the Mains result in November (a few say late October), followed by the interview in November–December and provisional allotment around January 2027; none of these dates is confirmed by IBPS yet. Final merit combines Mains (80%) and interview (20%). Watch ibps.in for the result and interview call letter.

The preliminary exam was scheduled for 10 and 11 October 2026 per the IBPS calendar. The prelims result is expected in November and the Main exam is tentatively on 27 December 2026. Selection is by online prelims and mains followed by provisional allotment. Check ibps.in for the result and mains call letter.

Correction to last week’s entry: the online test was held on 3 October 2026 (admit cards were out from 27 September). The result and later stages are still awaited; the selection process lists the online test, a local language proficiency test, a psychometric test and group discussion/interview. The Preliminary Examination was held on 27 September. The tentative answer key was released on 6 October and, as reported, objections can be raised online from 6 to 13 October. Confirm the exact deadline, fee and procedure in the notice on tnpsc.gov.in before submitting. Prelims is a screening stage only; the result and the Mains date are yet to be announced.

Correction: the Preliminary Examination is on Sunday, 1 November 2026, 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, as per Notification No. 07/2026 dated 11 August. The earlier planner date of 25 October was tentative. The paper is OMR-based (200 questions, 300 marks, 3 hours) with a minimum qualifying mark of 90 as reported. The hall ticket is not yet out; it is expected roughly ten days before the exam (an estimate, not an official date), so watch tnpsc.gov.in.

TNPSC opened Group 4 applications on 6 October for Junior Assistant, Typist, Steno-Typist, VAO, Forest Guard and other posts. The last date is 5 November at 11:59 PM, with a correction window from 9 to 11 November. The single written exam is on 10 January 2027 (9:30 AM to 12:30 PM). Register on OTR at tnpsc.gov.in if you do not already have one, and check qualification and age for your post code in the notification.

Online applications are accepted from 1 to 26 October 2026 (11:59 PM) at aphc.gov.in under Notification No. 118/2026-RC dated 25 September 2026. Law graduates who obtained the degree within one year before the notification date are reported to be eligible, and the screening test date is to be notified. Read the official notification for eligibility, age limit, fee and syllabus before applying.

The online application window opened on 5 October and runs until 3 November 2026 at jkssb.nic.in. The age cut-off date is 1 January 2026, as per the earlier tracker. Check the official advertisement for the post-wise eligibility and fee.

Other State Services: the UPSSSC PET 2026 written exam dates have been reported as revised to 25 and 30 October and 1 November (confirm on upsssc.gov.in). UP PCS 2026 prelims (6 December) and KPSC KAS Gazetted Probationers (319 posts) prelims (15 November) are carried forward from earlier calendars and were not re-checked this week. Candidates tracking BPSC, MPSC, TSPSC, RPSC and similar bodies should keep watching their official portals.

NTA opened the UGC NET December 2026 application on 8 October; the last date for applying and fee payment is 28 October at 11:50 PM. The exam is scheduled for 14 to 19 December 2026, with 20 and 21 December as buffer dates. A late-fee window on 29–31 October has been reported, so confirm it in the NTA notice. Law graduates can choose Law as their subject for Assistant Professor and JRF eligibility.

As per the Consortium’s press release of 22 July 2026, CLAT 2027 will be held on Sunday, 6 December 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The online application portal opened on 3 August and closes on 31 October 2026. Further details of the admission process will be notified by the Consortium. This is an admission test, not a recruitment, and is included for the law community.
