Technology is moving faster than the law meant to govern it  and somebody has to keep up. The NLIU Cell for Law and Technology is inviting abstracts for the 1st NLIU Global Symposium on Law and Technology (GSLT), 2026, alongside Volume III of the NLIU Journal for Law and Technology (JLT).

We’re looking for sharp, original thinking on the questions shaping how law and technology collide, including:

  • Algorithmic bias
  • Digital surveillance
  • Children’s safety online
  • Cross-border data flows
  • Big data regulation
  • Autonomous systems

Who can submit:
Students, Researchers, Academicians and Legal professionals (Indian and international)

Abstract: 250 words or fewer, setting out your research question, methodology and central arguments

Categories: Long Articles (5000 to 8000 words) | Short Articles (3000 to 5000 words) | Case Comments (1500 to 2500 words)

Notification for Selection of Abstract – 15 Sept 2026
Deadline for Paper Submission – 17 October 2026
Notification for Selection of Papers – 20 January 2027
