UPDATE (as of 14 September 2026): The fortnight of 7–20 September 2026 has been the busiest stretch of the season for Staff Selection Commission aspirants. SSC opened the CHSL 2026 notification on 7 September for 2,536 vacancies (LDC/JSA and DEO posts), with applications open till 7 October. Days later, on 12 September, SSC finally confirmed the long-awaited CGL 2026 Tier-I exam window — 30 September to 30 October — ending weeks of uncertainty after shifts ran through August–September without a full published schedule; city slips are expected around 22 September and admit cards around 27 September. Meanwhile the Selection Post Phase XIV Computer-Based Exam for 2,919 vacancies is actually being held during this window, from 16 to 26 September, with admit cards released on 14 September. On Railways, the Recruitment Boards issued a fresh Paramedical Staff notification (CEN 05/2026) for 590 posts (Nursing Superintendent, Pharmacist, Radiographer and other categories), with applications opening 15 September and closing 14 October; separately, the ongoing Junior Engineer, DMS & CMA (CEN 04/2026) drive for 4,029 vacancies closes its application window on 13 September, immediately followed by a correction window from 16–25 September. On Banking, the IBPS RRB CRP RRBs-XV application window for 13,706 Officer and Office Assistant vacancies — carried forward from last week — closes on 21 September, just after this tracker’s window ends, so candidates should apply without delay; IBPS also issued an updated vacancy/corrigendum notice on 9 September. Bank of Baroda’s LBO drive (2,482 vacancies) closed its application window on 7 September, right at the start of this period. No fresh State PSC notification opened in this window; Tamil Nadu’s TNPSC Group 1 Prelims was held just before it, on 6 September, while UP PCS 2026 Prelims remains confirmed for 6 December and Karnataka’s KAS Prelims stays tentatively set for 15 November.
