UPDATE (as of 17 August 2026): Several dates in this tracker have moved since first publication. ISRO has increased its Assistant/UDC/JPA/Stenographer vacancies from 242 to 267 and extended the closing date from 16 to 20 August. The RRB Junior Engineer, DMS & CMA notification (CEN 04/2026) has now been released in detailed form (13 August), with vacancies revised to 3,993 covering only JE and DMS posts, and the application window confirmed for 14 August – 13 September. State Bank of India has also opened a second, larger recruitment this week – SBI Clerk (Junior Associate) Regular Recruitment 2026 for 9,124 posts, running 11–31 August — in addition to the SC/ST/OBC backlog drive already listed below. RRB Section Controller closed on schedule on 14 August, with a correction window open 17–26 August. Full details for each notification, including these changes, are in the sections below.  The week of 10–23 August 2026 carries forward several deadlines from the previous cycle alongside two fresh banking notifications. IBPS Clerk/CSA 2026 (CRP CSA-XVI, 11,403 vacancies) and ISRO Assistant, UDC, JPA & Stenographer 2026 (originally 242, now 267 vacancies) both close within this window, on 21 August and 20 August (extended from 16 August) respectively, while RRB Section Controller (CEN 03/2026, 119 vacancies) closed on 14 August as scheduled – the same day the RRB Junior Engineer, DMS & CMA application window (CEN 04/2026, revised to 3,993 vacancies for JE & DMS posts) opened, running to 13 September. Three banking notifications have also opened this week: Indian Overseas Bank has invited applications for 250 Local Bank Officer (LBO) posts across four states, closing 24 August; the State Bank of India’s special SC/ST/OBC backlog drive for 1,538 Junior Associate (Clerk) posts remains open till 27 August; and SBI has separately opened a much larger Regular Recruitment for 9,124 Junior Associate posts, open 11–31 August. On the state services side, UP PCS 2026 candidates should note that the correction window for category, domicile, gender and date-of-birth details closed on 10 August – the very first day of this tracker’s window – and the Commission has since confirmed the Prelims exam date as 6 December 2026. Read carefully and apply well before the respective closing dates.
